Cheering their hearts out as they marched to the play field, the constituents of Christ the King Park Parish (CTKP), led by the club’s Rotary Community Corps (RCC), were just too eager to begin this year’s Larong Pinoy Mini-Olympics, held at the covered court of Northview 2, Quezon City, last November 11, under the leadership of HCP Gina “Nang” Santos.

The participants, totaling more than 300, were divided into six teams, bearing the names of Apostles as their team names and proudly showing off their team colors, chants, and respective muses. The games started with a mass at the CTKP church and a parade after the solemnity. Each team battled out for fun prizes in different traditional games such as Suot Butas, Bato-bato Pik, Touch Ball, Hula Hoop, Pinoy Relay, and others. Refreshments were also offered, like sorbetes, taho, lugaw, barbecue, juices, and others.

This event was made possible in partnership with the Sandigan sister club, the Rotary Club of Alabang Madrigal Business Park, the Magna Kultura Foundation, the Rotaract Club of Bagong Sandigan, and the and the Interact Club of Judge Feliciano Belmonte Sr. High school, and various corporate organizations. This was co-hosted by the Rotary Club of Acropolis, the Rotary Club of Balintawak, the Rotary Club of Cosmopolitan Cubao, the Rotary Club of Cubao South, the Rotary Club of Cubao Sunrise, the Rotary Club of Cubao West, the Rotary Club of Quezon City Southeast, the Rotary Club of Kagitingang Cubao, the Rotary Club of Kamuning Central, the Rotary Club of Metro San Francisco Del Monte, the Rotary Club of New Manila East, the Rotary Club of Roosevelt, and the and the Rotary Club of Sta.
