To inspire club leadership teams and strengthen their working relationships, the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of the Rotary International District 3790 recently held their first District Event for this Rotary Year, the District Training and Assembly (DTA) 2021 with a theme “Life-Changers: Ready to Sail to the Vast Ocean of Opportunities”.
The event was attended by 312 Rotaractors and Interactors and 20 Rotarians from District 3790.
DTA’s goal aims to provide Rotaractors and Interactors with an excellent opportunity to learn about Rotary. It also gives young men and women the chance to improve their knowledge and skills, which will help them in their personal development, meet the physical and social needs of their communities, and promote better relations between all people around the world through a framework of friendship and service.
During the event, Life-Changing District Rotaract Officers and Presidents were inducted by District Governor Willie Serafica. He addressed a message to District 3790’s new generations, assuring them that the district is fully supportive of all Rotaract and Interact Club programs and events.
DTA 2021 is graced by Multi-District Information Organization Chairpersons of Asia-Pacific Rotaract, Past District Rotaract Representative Louie Boy de Real from District 3780 and Pilipinas Rotaract, Past District Rotaract Representative Manuel Joseph Franco from District 3770. They both shared their plans and programs as well as their knowledge in the Rotary International. District Governor-Elect Anna Maria Lorenzana of District 3790 shared her knowledge about Elevate Rotaract and promised to support the Rotaractors and Interactors.
