The Philippine Rotary Magazine Foundation, Inc (PRMFI) made sure that this Rotaract Year ended on a high note.

Before the year officially draws to a close, Rotarians, PRMFI trustees, PRM Editorial Board, staff and Rotaractor awardees all gathered for one memorable night at the Conrad Manila Hotel in Pasay City.

It was the PRM Awards Night and everyone was expected to dress their best, in long gowns for the ladies and black tie for men.

The Forbes Ballroom, where the event was held, was filled with navy blue round tables and white flowers, all fitting for an awards night of this caliber. The stage was lit with gold and blue lights, having a podium on both sides and three LED screens.

It started with an Opening Ceremony before the official awarding ensued. One by one, the awarded Rotarians and Rotaractors accepted their plaques of recognition from the PRMFI trustees onstage. Rotaractors Philippine Rotaract Magazine Managing Editor JN Vianney and PRM Adviser Louie Boy de Real were among those recognized.

Afterwards, a memorandum of agreement was signed among HARPDI, Zone Coordinators, District Governors-Elect, ShelterBox, and PRFGF.

When all these were done, dinner was served. The menu was friendly for all diets, serving two kinds of vegetable salads, cuttlefish, and grilled chicken. The dessert was a delicious serving of panna cotta and sesame balls. Iced tea and red wine were available for all the guests to enjoy.

The program resumed with PRM Editor-in-Chief Sonny Coloma introducing outgoing PRMFI Chairman Ed Limon who explained PRMFI’s operations. Incoming PRMFI Chito Borromeo took the podium during the turnover ceremony of the PRMFI Board of Trustees. PRID Jocjoc Bolante delivered an Inspirational Message and PRID Raffy Garcia recognized the outgoing board. Before the fellowship, Inducting Officer PRID Guiller Tumangan led the Induction Ceremony.

All in all, it was a great night of fellowship and recognition with the guests and dignitaries sharing a vision for a bigger PRM in the next years. Till the next PRM awards!
