RAC December: The Last Page

2021 has truly been a year like no other. Before 2021 ended, the Rotaract Club of Balintawak continued to serve until before the Christmas season kicked in.

The club conducted their last monthly meeting last Dec. 6, led by the club’s Supremo, LCP Angel Jimenez. The meeting garnered a total of 11 participants. As usual, the club officers and directors reported updates regarding their avenues of service, events held last month, and the upcoming events for the month of December.

Furthermore, the last Project Maschera for this year took place last December 18, 2021. It’s been a whole year of monthly donation drives and the club couldn’t be any prouder for this accomplishment. It was assured that the passion they have this year for this project will continue in 2022 as well until the pandemic finally leaves its reign in our country.

Also, the season of fellowship and giving has been alive as the RAC Balintawak and RAC Balingasa unite once again for URB Paskuhan, a yearly Christmas party event full of fun, delicious food, giving of gifts, and awarding. It has been an annual project for years now, and it was a nice sight to see both clubs gathering and just enjoying each other’s company sharing the purpose of serving to change lives.

And as the URB Paskuhan gathers a few people in one place, the RAC Balintawak took this opportunity to release the Project Stick With Us, a fundraising project to sell stickers that have designs like club positions and many more. The club couldn’t be any happier as the first release raise a total of PHP 690, marking a good start for its first release.

A whole year has passed and the club strives to keep the fire and passion within them in 2022 as well. Here’s to hoping for more projects and to helping many more people this 2022.
