Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North is a group of students and young professionals that aims to create transformational change in our local communities. Leadership, diversity, volunteerism, and care for the environment are some characteristics that Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North is enthusiastic about. The club is also proud to be part of the National Youth Commission for Youth Organization Registration Program (NYC). NYC’s main goal is to register all active youth organizations in the Philippines and provide access and participation in NYC-sponsored initiatives.
To fulfill this goal and to open the Life-Changing Rotary Year, the Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North began with the PROJECT HEPTA: Environment Implementation, a joint project with Rotaract Club of Rizal Centro in one of the mountains of Antipolo, Rizal – Gabriel Sanctuary wherein we were able to plant 300 seedlings.
The club also accomplished one of it’s most promising projects, The Brown Bag Webinar Series. This program commenced as a means of diversifying our reach involving young professionals, students, and business leaders. This Brown Bag webinar series aims to provide the finest of the best business acumen, entrepreneurship, taxation, and workforce development workshops to empower our audiences with practical knowledge in readiness and as a competitive advantage in leveraging their skill sets.
Moreover, our club was able to execute Club Admin’s Professional Development seminar entitled The Power Dressing: How to dress like a Pro. This webinar intends to upskill our future professionals and other individuals even if we are confined because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we must know how to dress based on our body form and look professional at times.
Lastly, on October 2, 2021, Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North in collaboration with our local community partners, was able to extend help to Parada National Highschool and Viente Reales National High School in Valenzuela City via Brigada Eskwela 2021: Bayanihan sa Paaralan. They have been Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North’s chosen school since then, and continuously help them by providing school supplies and teaching materials before the start of the school year.
As we always say, there is no stopping Rotaractors to serve and change lives. The Rotaract Club of New Rise Kalookan North will continue to be an active youth organization that achieves impactful projects and makes a difference in the community.
