Bente Singko Mo Para Sa Bwas Damlag Ko

Last September 26, 2021, The Rotaract Club of University of Caloocan City – College of Business and Accountancy conducted its first ever fundraiser, “Bente Singko mo para sa Bwas Damlag ko” which means “Bente Singko mo para sa kinabukasan ko.” This exciting raffle event supports the club’s chosen beneficiaries namely; Bagong Barrio National High School and Jagnaya National High School.

In celebration of the World Teachers’ Day yesterday, the Rotaract Club of University of Caloocan City – CBA Life Changing Officers turned over the Teachers’ Care Kit to the beloved and inspiring teachers of Bagong Barrio National High School in Caloocan City today, October 6, 2021. Half of the proceeds of our fundraising project entitled: “Bente Singko Mo para sa Bwas Damlag ko” was alloted for BBNHS.

In line with the celebration of the World Teachers’ Day, Rotaract Club of University of Caloocan City’s LCP Jhomarie Esturis together with its Life Changing Officers, executed its mission to the Bagong Barrio National High School last October 6, 2021 by giving “Teachers’ Care Kit” to the beloved, hardworking and passionate teachers of the school. Each handled with tender love and care, the care kit consists of necessities that the teachers can use as we continue to fight the pandemic.

Moreover, part of the proceeds from the fundraising event will also be used to donate school materials to Jagnaya National High School, a public school from Capiz Province. The distribution of the school materials is yet to be scheduled.

Helping others is a commitment and proof of appreciation for the hard work of the people who serve their community. There is no big or small amount in giving. Only willing, open and pure hearts that give, unconditionally.

LCP Jhomarie Esturis spearheaded the donations of 40 TEACHERS’ CARE KIT for the teachers of Bagong Barrio National High School in Caloocan City. Included in the Kits are Alcohol, Facemasks, Candies, Coffee Pack, Biscuits, and Teacher’s Day Card.
