Seventeen (17) Rotaractors of Rotary International District 3780 underwent the prestigious Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) training through an in-person activity last February 5, 2022 at the district’s Rotary Center.

The RLI is a premier leadership development program for Rotary’s potential leaders. Established in 1992, RLI has become a worldwide leadership development program and a grassroots coalition of trainers around the world.

Rotary International District 3780 is the only district in the Philippines that conducts an exclusive RLI training for Rotaractors. This is the 3rd time that the said district has done this for their Rotaractors with DRR Dianna Isabelle Desuyo and DG Edgardo Ayento leading the resource mobilization to make the 3rd batch of training happen.

The first batch of training for Rotaractors happened in 2015 and the second one was in 2017. A total of 54 Rotaractors of the district, including those who completed the program last February 5, already graduated from the RLI program and became part of the faculty.

The 3rd batch of RLI training program was organized jointly by the Rotarians and Rotaractors with the leadership of District Rotary Trainer PDG Danilo Fausto, who served as the main discussion leader, and District Rotaract Trainer PDRR Louie De Real, who served as the head of Rotaract faculty and panel of evaluators. PDRR Ligaya Nicole Corpus conducted the demonstration session.

While the morning programme focused on the teaching of RLI principles and the demonstration session, the afternoon programme focused on the demonstration of participants of their acquired facilitation skills using Rotary topics on leadership, membership and service based from the RLI standard international module. They faced a panel of RLI faculty, composed of previous Rotaractor graduates of RLI, who provided them constructive feedback on how they can further improve their facilitation skills. Graduates of batch 3 received the exclusive RLI graduate pin and official RLI certificate.
