A Legacy of Service: 17 Years of Leadership and Community Impact

By Gabrielle Ella Agpawa | Posted on February 27, 2026

Seventeen years ago, a group of passionate young leaders came together with a shared vision: to serve communities with integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication. This vision became the foundation of the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente (RACCF). Today, as we celebrate our 17th Founding Anniversary, we honor not only the years that have passed but also the enduring legacy of service, leadership, and fellowship that continues to define who we are.

Steadfast in the call for service to the affected communities.

From its inception, RACCF has remained committed to its mission: to uplift communities, empower youth, and develop leaders through service. Over the years, the club has grown into a vibrant hub for Rotaractors driven by purpose and united by the principle of Service Above Self. Every project, outreach, and initiative reflects this commitment, demonstrating that meaningful impact is built not just through effort but through dedication, vision, and heart.

Celebrating achievements together

Throughout its journey, RACCF has produced four District Rotaract Representatives (DRRs)—a testament to its role in cultivating strong, capable leaders who have shaped the Rotaract movement both locally and nationally. Beyond leadership, the club has earned numerous awards on the local, national, and international stage—recognition of its commitment to excellence, innovation, and the transformative power of collective action.

At the heart of RACCF are its leaders. Each Past President has carried forward the mission with dedication, vision, and passion, ensuring that the club’s work continues to evolve while remaining true to its roots. Their leadership has shaped generations of Rotaractors and left a legacy visible in every life touched and every community uplifted.

Travelled so hard they made it annual

RACCF is also a home—a welcoming space for young leaders from all walks of life, including those who have faced challenges far from home. This was true for President Ella, originally from Mindanao, who found guidance, mentorship, and a sense of belonging within the club. Stories like hers reflect RACCF’s commitment not only to serving communities but also to nurturing leaders who carry the values of fellowship, resilience, and service into the world.

Honoring thy past and shaping the next future leaders

Over the years, RACCF’s initiatives have spanned disaster relief, health advocacy, environmental projects, youth empowerment, and community development. Each program embodies the club’s resilience and creativity, ensuring that no challenge is too great to overcome and no community too distant to serve.

Built in confidence of information to strengthen the learning and leadership styles

Seventeen years of RACCF is more than a timeline of projects—it is a story of courage, compassion, and commitment. It is about families who received relief during critical times, children who found joy through outreach, and young leaders inspired to serve with purpose.

Seventeen years have passed, yet the mission remains the same: to serve, to inspire, and to uplift. The journey of RACCF continues—stronger, united, and ever committed to creating lasting impact in Cebu and beyond.
