Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO Celebrates World Rotaract Week: One TV appearance at a time

In celebration of the World Rotaract Week, Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO decided to shake things up a bit and step into the limelight of one of the Philippines’ most beloved and long running Noon Time shows, Eat Bulaga!

Picture this: It’s March 9, 2023, just a few days before the official kick-off of the World Rotaract Week. We, along with some of our fellow Rotaractors, Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO Officerstv and District Rotaract Representatives, got together to attend Eat Bulaga as audience members. Why? Well, why not? It’s not every day you get the chance to be on live TV, right?

We made our way to the TV5 Studio, excitement and nerves were running high. Meeting famous artists and being part of a live show? It was surreal! But you know what made it even more special? Seeing our Rotaract family represented on a national platform. It was like, “Hey, we’re here, and we’re making waves!”

Special thanks to Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO Membership Engagement Officer Aly Francisco, also a Past District Rotaract Representative from District 3800, who made all of this happen. She’s the real MVP, coordinating everything like a boss and making sure we had the time of our lives.

Sure, not all our Rotaractors could be there in person, but you better believe they’re glued to their screens, cheering us on and chatting non-stop with their District Rotaract Representatives. It was like a big virtual watch party, and the energy was EFFECTIVE!

Some might say, “Oh, it’s just a TV appearance,” but for us Rotaractors, it was so much more. It was a moment of pride, seeing Rotaract shine on a national stage. It got us thinking, “Hey, we’ve got something special to celebrate here!”

As we look back on our experience at Eat Bulaga, we’re reminded of the power of seizing opportunities and showing the world what Rotaract is all about—fun, friendship, fellowship and making a difference, one TV appearance at a time.
