An exceptional milestone to begin the 2024 of Rotaract Club of Quezon City Central. One of the ultimate goals of RAC QCC is to be accredited internationally – yes, they made it! Having known for its quality community projects for 10 years in the world of Rotaract, it is now the right time to elevate their international linkages, as they say “Elevate Rotaract!”
The club’s endeavor in making sustainable projects for this 2024 has been a roller coaster. For months of hard work, unity and camaraderie among members, they succeeded the four levels of screening and panel interviews by the National Coordinating Body of Clubs for UNESCO in the Philippines. Aiming for a better partnership that will put the club’s plan into action and making it competent enough not only locally but also internationally.
Last December 09-11, 2023 the club’s dream of being accredited internationally has been received by President-Elect Ms. Evangeline P. Arevalo who represented the Rotaract Club of Quezon City Central in the International Assembly of Youth for UNESCO (Y4U) 2023 held in Manila Grand Opera Hotel, Philippines.
This accreditation transforms and capacitates the club’s goals namely: Providing quality basic education and literacy among indigenous people, quality sustainable projects imbued with scientific evidences and assessments, and promoting cultural understanding. These are just the preliminary efforts that one day will evolve to have greater impact.
This is just the beginning of the rising remarkable success of the Rotaract Club of Quezon City Central. A decade of astounding projects leads towards its dedication and outstanding passion in line with the Rotary International Seven Areas of Focus that will definitely goes into places together with UNESCO’s vision and mission. Indeed, this is the true meaning of “Service Above Self”
