The event featured different pets, mostly cats and dogs. Anyone could react to posted photos to show their support. Participants actively tagged, and mentioned their friends and families.

The Rotaract Club of the University of Caloocan City organized “Purrfectly Funded: Pet Show for Education” during Basic Education and Literacy Month.

During the course of the event, RAC-UCC encountered challenges, but was able to address all of them. There were changes regarding prizes. As a formal action, our organization decided to issue an apology letter to all the participants explaining the rationale behind such changes. Fortunately, the event continued without any complaint regarding the prize.

Another, the RAC-UCC investigated the pressing concern of some participants using “auto-likes”, there was an official statement released. The final decision, and results of the investigation were explained to all persons involved. Participants found guilty of using “auto-likes” were not considered to be winners, but instead, received consolation prizes.
