More than 70 residents of Barangay Marketview participated in Project Kliktas: Digital Financial Literacy on May 3, a community initiative organized by the Rotaract Club of Lucena South in close partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).

The event focused on educating participants about common financial fraud schemes such as skimming, phone scams, and identity theft. It also introduced the security features and advantages of the country’s new polymer banknotes.

Representing BSP, PP Wilbur Leonen Jr. led an in-depth discussion on digital fraud awareness, while Nathan Millares delivered a comprehensive briefing on polymer currency and its enhanced security features.

This initiative highlights BSP’s continued commitment to strengthening public financial literacy, working hand-in-hand with youth-led organizations to promote safer and smarter financial practices across communities.
