A Christmas of Gratitude: Honoring the Silent Guardians of Angat

In the spirit of the season of giving, the Rotaract Club of Angat, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Angat, mounted A Christmas of Gratitude, a heartfelt holiday initiative dedicated to recognizing the unwavering service of sanitation workers and solid waste management personnel in Angat, Bulacan. The event was held on December 20, 2025, at Matias A. Fernando Memorial School and brought together gratitude, community, and service in one meaningful celebration.

Rotaractors distributed tribute packages to 37 workers on December 20, 2025, acknowledging their vital role as silent guardians of the community’s well-being.

The program honored 37 sanitation workers and solid waste management personnel from the three barangays of Poblacion—Barangays Santa Cruz, Santo Cristo, and San Roque—along with personnel from the Municipal Government of Angat. These individuals, often working behind the scenes, play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall well-being of the community.

More than a simple holiday gathering, A Christmas of Gratitude served as a tribute to everyday heroes whose dedication frequently goes unnoticed. Through simple gifts and heartfelt tributes, the project sent a clear message: the labor of these 37 heroes is seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.
