In the spirit of the season of giving, the Rotaract Club of Angat, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Angat, mounted A Christmas of Gratitude, a heartfelt holiday initiative dedicated to recognizing the unwavering service of sanitation workers and solid waste management personnel in Angat, Bulacan. The event was held on December 20, 2025, at Matias A. Fernando Memorial School and brought together gratitude, community, and service in one meaningful celebration.
The program honored 37 sanitation workers and solid waste management personnel from the three barangays of Poblacion—Barangays Santa Cruz, Santo Cristo, and San Roque—along with personnel from the Municipal Government of Angat. These individuals, often working behind the scenes, play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall well-being of the community.
More than a simple holiday gathering, A Christmas of Gratitude served as a tribute to everyday heroes whose dedication frequently goes unnoticed. The event was a powerful reminder that community health is a collective effort and that those on the front lines of waste management deserve the highest level of recognition.
