Facilitated by Cebu Normal University’s Council of Special Educators (CNU-COSPED), COSPED PAMASKO brought together Rtr. Erm Thaddeus Dolino and Rtr. Aspirant Angel C. Salado III of the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente, along with MARSH PH, to share the Christmas spirit with children with special needs at the Consolacion Central Elementary School Gymnasium on December 19.

Laughter and excitement filled the gymnasium as children tore open colorful gift bags and eagerly joined games and activities crafted just for them. Rtr. Dolino and Rtr. Aspirant Salado worked alongside facilitators from CNU-COSPED and partners from MARSH PH, moving from group to group to ensure that every child felt included, valued, and celebrated during the annual COSPED PAMASKO.

The morning began with interactive, inclusive activities designed to engage all children. Storytelling sessions entertained the kids while promoting listening and comprehension skills, and a member of CNU-COSPED incorporated sign language to include children with hearing impairments—ensuring that no one was left out of the fun.

Following the activities, club representatives helped distribute gift bags filled with school supplies and essential items. Smiles and laughter filled the gymnasium as the children received their gifts—a tangible reminder of the generosity and care shared by volunteers and donors alike.

Now in its sixth year, COSPED PAMASKO began as a simple outreach initiative in orphanages and at the Missionaries of the Poor. Over time, it evolved into a more inclusive and advocacy-driven program focused on empowering and uplifting individuals with special needs. Consolacion Central Elementary School marks the project’s fifth school beneficiary, reflecting its steady growth and expanding impact.

By the end of the day, the spirit of Christmas—love, hope, and happiness—was visible in every corner of the school. COSPED PAMASKO once again proved that when service meets inclusivity, Christmas is truly made for everyone.
