9 Rotaract Clubs collab for Project PULSEto provide life essentials to fire victims in Tondo, Manila

Aimed to provide urgent life-sustaining supplies and essentials to fire victims in Barangay 105, Tondo, Manila, 9 Rotaract clubs from District 3810 came together for a significant humanitarian initiative named Project: PULSE. (Providing Urgent Life-sustaining Supplies & Essentials) on September 28, 2024.

The 9 Rotaract clubs within the Manila area initiated the project, headed by the Rotaract Clubs of Chinatown-Manila, Malate, Manila, Manila Business College, Manila Metro, Manila Zobel, Quirino Manila Central, San Antonio de Padua, Tondo, and United Nations.

“Project PULSE is more than just a relief initiative—it is a heartbeat of compassion, unity, and action among all the participating clubs. It demonstrates that when we come together with purpose, we don’t just provide essentials; we restore hope, uplift communities, and create lasting change. True service is not measured by the size of our contributions but by the impact we leave in the lives we touch.,” said John Noe Lopez, District Rotaract Representative of Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3810. 

He emphasized that through this project, we remind those in need that they are not alone and that kindness, no matter how small, can spark resilience and transformation.

Additionally, 26 other Rotaract clubs across 8 out of 10 Pilipinas Rotaract Districts contributed to this noble cause which includes the Rotaract Clubs of Adamson University, Angat, Caloocan,  Calumpit, Carmona, Changebringers, Greater Loyola Heights, Hundred Islands, Legazpi West, Lubang Central, Luntiang Maynila Prime, Makati, Makati United, Malabon Highlands, Manila Supreme 198, Meycauayan Metro, Pasay MOA, Puerto Princesa, San Mateo, Sunvalley Sunrise, Tacloban, Tagum North – Palm City Chapter, Uptown Cubao, Valenzuela Legacy, Valenzuela Premiere, Valenzuela West.

“Unexpectedly, this project reached other Rotaract and Rotary Clubs which made a grand collaboration.” – quoted by Cris Vincent Meneses, Magical Irresistible President of the Rotaract Club of Tondo.

Nineteen Rotary Clubs within District 3810 that supported the initiative, namely Rotary Clubs of Carmona, Dasmarinas Cavite, Ermita, Imus, Imus Independencia, Magdiwang, Manila,Manila East, Manila Metro, Manila Magic,Manila Premier, Pasay Cyber City, Pasay Libertad, Pasay MOA, Pasay Silangan, Pasay Southeast, Quiapo Plaza Miranda,Tagaytay, Tondo Manila.

The project accumulated an amount of PHP 22,000 in cash donations along with various in-kind contributions to deliver immediate assistance to those affected by the fire.
