In celebration of Souls’ Day, the Rotaract Club of Pasay Southeast – Pinagsama Chapter successfully conducted its outreach event, “SpooRACular Year 2,” bringing joy and sweetness to the children—fondly known as “BOOlilits”—of Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig City. The activity aimed to share happiness during a meaningful occasion, blending the spirit of remembrance with acts of kindness and community engagement.

Building on the success of its first year, SpooRACular Year 2 was designed to create a fun and memorable experience for local children while reinforcing the club’s commitment to service above self. The highlight of the event was the distribution of 500 packs of candies, thoughtfully prepared and distributed by Rotaract volunteers. Dressed in festive and Halloween-inspired costumes, the volunteers added excitement and color to the celebration.

Behind the scenes, Rotaract members dedicated their time and effort to organizing the initiative, from sourcing materials to packing and distribution. Each candy pack symbolized not just a simple treat, but also care and thoughtfulness for every child who received it.

The initiative was made more meaningful through partnership with the Barangay Pinagsama Council, headed by Barangay Captain Ma. Victoria M. Mortel. Their support ensured the smooth flow of the activity and strengthened community ties.

“SpooRACular Year 2 is more than just a candy drive,” shared one of the organizers. “It’s about creating smiles and meaningful connections within the community.”
