There are moments in Rotaract that go beyond reports and formalities—moments that remind members why they serve. The recent official visit of District Rotaract Representative Luis “Santi” Hidalgo to the Rotaract Club of Lucena South was one of those moments.

Held at BeatyPool Resort, the event brought together club members and district officers for a day marked by reflection. The atmosphere was both celebratory and meaningful, as members welcomed their district leaders with pride.

The program opened with introductions and a message from DRR Hidalgo, who emphasized the importance of leadership, collaboration, and staying committed to the values that define Rotaract. His words set the tone for a day not just of evaluation, but of inspiration.

Taking the stage next, Club President Luigi G. Oblena presented the club’s accomplishments. From ongoing service initiatives to membership growth and future plans, the report reflected a club driven by unity and purpose. More than numbers and updates, it told a story of dedication—of members consistently showing up to serve their community.

Following the presentation, district officers shared their insights and feedback. They commended the Rotaract Club of Lucena South for its strong performance and for embodying the true spirit of Rotaract. Their words affirmed the club’s efforts while also challenging members to continue striving for excellence.

Yet beyond the formal program, what truly defined the visit was the sense of connection. Members had the opportunity to engage with district leaders in a more personal setting—sharing ideas, exchanging experiences, and building relationships that extend beyond the event itself.

For many, the visit was a reminder that Rotaract is not just about projects or positions. It is about people—leaders who inspire, teams that support one another, and a shared commitment to service.

A happy moment for the club after the presentation with the district officers.

As the day came to a close, one thing was clear: the visit was more than a checkpoint. It was a moment that reignited passion, strengthened bonds, and reaffirmed the club’s mission to serve with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Because in Rotaract, every visit is not just an evaluation—it is an opportunity to grow.
