A Decade of Service and Leadership

This year marks a significant milestone for the Rotaract Club of Midtown QC, as the club celebrates its 10th anniversary. What began in 2015 as a small group of individuals aspiring to serve the community has grown into a strong and impactful organization. Over the past decade, the club has not only broadened its reach within the community but has also shaped and nurtured young individuals into emerging leaders—committed to continuing the club’s legacy and embodying its mission of service.

Charter members through the years

In previous years, the club celebrated its anniversary through intimate gatherings shared among members. This tradition has strengthened fellowship and unity within the organization. This year, however—marking the second time since last year—the occasion called for something bigger. Beyond the usual intimate celebration, the club chose to commemorate the milestone in a more meaningful and service-driven way.

The Rotaract Club of Midtown QC shared its jubilation with Holy Trinity Home for Children, an orphanage that shelters children from diverse backgrounds, including those who have experienced abuse and those living with disabilities. Celebrating with them made the anniversary even more special, reminding the club of its true purpose.

A special surprise performance by the children.

The celebration began with a simple program that opened with a surprise performance by the children, a moment that deeply touched the hearts of the members. Inspired by the children’s energy and joy, the club worked even harder to make the day meaningful and memorable. Through dancing together and playing games, the members and children created unforgettable moments of connection and happiness.

After the activities, the club distributed school supplies, hygiene kits, toys, groceries, and food to the children. Watching them eat, open up, and engage in conversations with the members became a heartwarming experience—one that filled the club with renewed purpose and gratitude.

As the program came to a close and marked the beginning of the Rotary Year with the theme “Unite for Good,” the Rotaract Club of Midtown QC carries this experience forward as motivation to serve better, lead better, and continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
