When he first wore that simple blue Interact shirt in high school, he never imagined it would mark the beginning of a lifelong journey — one that would teach him about purpose, leadership, and the power of serving others.
From being a young Interactor to becoming the District Rotaract Representative of RID 3790, his story is a reflection of how small acts of service can grow into a lifetime mission. His path in the Rotary family has not only shaped his leadership but has also touched countless lives through projects rooted in compassion and courage.
From Interact to Rotaract: A Journey of Purpose
He began his Rotary journey in 2013 as the Charter President of the Interact Club in his high school. Even at a young age, he showed a heart for volunteerism, leading tutorials for orphans at the Fresh Hope Refuge Shelter. What started as weekly teaching sessions became a movement of hope — helping children believe that education and kindness could change their future.
When he entered college, his passion didn’t fade. Instead, it grew stronger. In 2016, he chartered the Rotaract Club of Pampanga North, carrying with him the lessons from his Interact years. Through projects that educated, protected, and empowered the youth, he proved that leadership is not about position — it’s about purpose.
Leading with Courage, Serving with Heart
As a Rotaractor, he faced challenges — limited resources, differing opinions, and the heavy weight of responsibility. Yet, every difficulty became an opportunity to grow.
He led anti-illegal drug symposiums, anti-bullying campaigns, and environmental cleanups, each one anchored in his belief that youth can be the voice of change.
One of his most memorable experiences was organizing the annual Coastal Cleanup Drive, where Rotaractors and Interactors joined hands for the planet. “Each bag of trash collected felt like a promise — that we will never stop taking action for a better world,” he said.
By 2022, he became a dual member of both Rotary and Rotaract, a milestone that deepened his understanding of service above self.
Uniting for Good: A Vision for the Future
Now serving as District Rotaract Representative, he dreams of a more connected and empowered district — one where clubs work as partners, not competitors. His leadership is built on empathy, collaboration, and the belief that young leaders can drive lasting change.
He often reminds fellow Rotaractors, “Our generation has the energy, the creativity, and the heart to make a difference. Let’s use them — together.”
For him, the true reward of service is not the recognition, but the lives transformed along the way. Through every project and every person he meets, he continues to live by Rotary’s timeless truth — that when we serve others, we also discover the best in ourselves.
