They say life is full of challenges and uncertainties. The pandemic which is on its closure got so many lives. The ongoing conflict around the world, inflation, poverty, inequality, global warming and climate change are giving great impact to the entire humanity. Indeed, life gets tough recently.
What can you offer to the world?
Positivity! Being open-minded or optimistic is actually a manifestation that a person believes that the future will be better than the present.
As we welcome the New Rotary Year with the theme “Creating Hope in the World”, we shall bring and sustain hope to people through sustainable projects, programs and activities that would create an impact to their lives.
We just started creating hope!
Rotaractors commit to take care of the environment. To help mother earth heal from climate change, a tree-planting activity such as the Project TOL (Tree of Life) of District 3770 was undertaken at Sinsayon Elementary School, Santiago City, Isabela. This is part of the one-day Clubs’ Officers Seminar and Training (COST) of the district which was led by Rtr. Jessica Mitra, District Rotaract Representative, together with the clubs of District 3770.
Creating hope is like planting a seedling. We plant seeds or bulbs in the soil. We take care of these by watering and weeding. And eventually, like magic, these turn into plants or trees that would bear fruits and vegetables and later on will be beneficial to all.
Expect that life will be full of bumpy roads and difficulties. Stay optimistic and start thinking of a better future by creating and planting seeds of hope.
