Growing up, we’ve often been asked how we’d imagine our future. Some would describe everything in detail, some would be short but specific and some would still be unsure. There are some who would stick to what they’ve envisioned themselves to be and some who would change as they go along. There’s no right or wrong way to it but what’s certain is we all want to achieve what we’ve envisioned ourselves to be and more.
This year’s theme, Imagine Rotary, challenges every Rotarian and Rotaractor to imagine a better world and to bring it to reality by making a difference, through engaged and dedicated service. With this strong and inspired vision, we are looking forward to a year of breakthroughs, of new beginnings, of adapting to the new normal and more. What’s exciting is the return of more in person and face to face activities, seeing each other again with fresh perspectives and ideas to put forth to action. In past years, we would only allow ourselves to imagine being in the warmth of communities we serve and partners we serve with. It is but fitting that this Imagine Rotary year, we can be together to see more of what we imagined, come to life.
We are an organization that dreams big and despite the challenges the pandemic brought, we never stopped making these dreams real. The success of the past years are proof that we continue getting better and we will continue making meaningful impact to the world.
