As A Fresh Rotary Year Begins, A #REFRESH Is Needed

There is an old saying that goes “We cannot give what we do not have”, thus the Rotaract Club of Malabon Central believes going back to basics is the right building blocks to more empowered and quality-service projects.

To achieve ORIENTATION, FELLOWSHIP, AND SERVICE, the Rotaract Club conducted its 3-day event, #Refresh: New Light for the Life-Changing Experience to Serve and Change Lives! last August 17-19 2021Both officers and members had the opportunity to listen to the Life-Changing District Rotaract Representative, DRR  Julie H. Abante regarding Basics of Rotary and Rotaract, the District Rotaract Vice Chair PDRR Francis Castil of RID3800 regarding Club Structure, Roles and Responsibilities, and the District Rotaract Representative-Elect of RID 3780, DRRE. Trishia Anne Soldevilla on the Avenues of Service, Club Activities and 7 Area of Focus.

This is to equip Rotaractors with the knowledge they need during their journey this Rotary year, to strengthen their identity and further elevate Rotaract’s brand of leadership and service. The Virtual Club Orientation was followed by a team building at the Philippine Malabon Cultural Institute and ended with a service project at Malabon National Highschool, distributing school supplies to kindergarten students and hot meals among newly vaccinated Malabonians.

Indeed, Rotaract Club of Malabon Central is ready to act as People of Action for this Life-Changing Year!
