Rotaractors in the Philippines have been doing a lot of remarkable things in growing the professional and leadership skills of their peers as well as transforming the lives of fellow Filipinos in various communities, most especially during this challenging time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Behind these remarkable achievements are inspirational stories of passion, struggles, and desire to work together. Our Rotaractors and their stories deserve to be highlighted. As the country’s Rotaract Multi-District Information Organization (MDIO), we took into heart this duty of maximizing and providing all available platforms for our Rotaractors to tell their stories.
We saw the potential of having a presence in the Philippine Rotary Magazine (PRM) especially in this era of Elevate Rotaract when Rotarians and Rotaractors are called to collaborate. Hence, the MDIO left no stone unturned in finally securing a strong partnership with the Philippine Rotary Magazine in telling the story of Pilipinas Rotaract within and outside the Philippine Rotary community.
We were very glad because aside from giving us a regular section in the monthly magazine, the PRM Foundation Management and Editorial Board also worked with us to finally have our own Philippine Rotaract Magazine Digital Edition. This is an achievement that we are very proud of because it is a product of Philippine Rotary and Rotaract collaboration, one of our zone’s tangible contributions in Elevating Rotaract, and a pioneer move in Rotary International.
There are really a lot of wins for both Rotary and Rotaract if we work together. Through this Philippine Rotaract Magazine Digital Edition, we hope that we can inspire the Rotary community that Rotaract is the present and the future of the organization and prove to the Filipino nation that the youth are our partners in nation-building.
