Even structured training can turn into spaces where ideas spark and connections take root.
Some gatherings begin as rigid schedules but quickly grow into moments of shared stories and genuine learning.

From May 1 to 3, 2025, Koronadal City became the center of this energy for District 3860. The city hosted the Rotaract District Learning Seminar (RDLS), welcoming 120 Rotaractors—ranging from club presidents and secretaries to officers and members—for an immersive three-day experience designed to prepare them for the upcoming Rotary year.

The agenda was comprehensive yet dynamic. Workshops, interactive discussions, and skill-building exercises provided participants with practical tools for leadership, governance, and effective club management.
But beyond the slide decks and lectures, the seminar opened a space for dialogue. It allowed peers to learn from one another, trading the theory of leadership for the reality of application.

Fellowship was woven naturally through every session. During breaks between workshops, conversations shifted from formal topics to personal experiences.
Participants discussed the unique challenges their clubs face, celebrated recent victories, and built the kind of rapport that strengthens collaboration across the district.

The seminar served as a reminder that leadership involves more than just knowing what to do; it requires understanding the people you lead alongside.
As RDLS concluded, the Rotaractors departed with more than just new strategies. They left inspired and connected, carrying a renewed sense of purpose to guide the district through the year ahead.

The weekend in Koronadal proved that leadership is shaped as much by shared experience as it is by knowledge, turning every lesson into a motivating force for the future.
RDLS became a reminder that the bonds we build and the stories we share often become the truest measure of leadership.
