While many clubs celebrate their new beginnings with glitz and glam, the Rotaract Club of SPSPS San Juanico dared to take a different path. This was never meant to be an ordinary induction. Steering away from traditional, extravagant induction ceremonies, the club chose to highlight the true essence of Rotaract: service.

Rotary Club of San Juanico President, Pres. Winston U. Yao Cabigon, inducts Game Changer President for RY 2025โ€“2026, Rtr. Khent Vincent Montuya.

On September 28, 2025, the club held its Induction and Service Program within the hallowed walls of St. Roch Chaplaincy, Pope Francis Parish. The formalities of the induction were solemnly conducted inside the chapel, creating a humble and reflective atmosphere. This meaningful setting served as a reminder that Rotaract is defined not by lavish gatherings but by sincere commitment, faith-driven service, and values-centered leadership.

The new members of the Rotaract Club of SPSPS San Juanico wholeheartedly recites their pledge of commitment.

The solemn ceremony marked the official induction of Rtr. Khent Vincent Montuya as the clubโ€™s โ€œGame Changerโ€ President for Rotary Year 2025โ€“2026, together with the newly appointed officers who pledged to lead with integrity, accountability, and compassion. The program also welcomed new members into the organization, expanding the club to a total of 32 active Rotaractors. This growing membership reflects a strengthened collective of young leaders united by a shared mission to serve and uplift the community.

Gracing the occasion were distinguished guests and inducting officers: IPDG Caroline Lee-Andrade, President Winston Cabigon, and IPP Erwin Alcala. Through their inspiring messages, they encouraged the members to remain steadfast in Rotary values, embrace servant leadership, and continuously pursue initiatives that create lasting and positive impact.

However, the true spirit of SIDLAK 2025 was not found in the words spoken at the podium but in the actions that followed. Immediately after the induction, the club launched Project KALINGA, a heartfelt outreach initiative at the Pope Francis Home for the Orphans and Elderly. This initiative allowed the members to translate their oaths into action by extending care, compassion, and companionship to some of the most vulnerable members of the community. It was a powerful demonstration that the clubโ€™s commitment does not end when the applause dies down; rather, that is where the real work begins.

Rooted in humility, sincerity, and fellowship, the event reflected the genuine heart of Rotaract. SIDLAK 2025 embodies the clubโ€™s ongoing commitment to service โ€” demonstrating that leadership extends beyond ceremonies and finds meaning in genuine community engagement. As the Rotaract Club of SPSPS San Juanico steps into the new Rotary Year, it does so with renewed purpose, strengthened unity, and an unwavering dedication to Service Above Self.
