It is true when they say that progressive action leads to progressive change. With over 120 Rotaractors from 10 districts, an informative orientation on the Procedures on Waiving RI Dues was organized by the Grow Rotaract Team under the Membership Engagement Committee of PH MDIO and held last August 9, 2025, via Zoom.
In Rotaract’s continuous effort to provide ease and convenience to members around the world, this virtual orientation created a space where university-based Rotaract clubs were informed on how to waive the $5 RI dues—helping lessen the burden and expenses in their Rotaract journey. This significant action not only promotes inclusivity but also harnesses the leadership and potential of Rotaractors without requiring additional costs.
Through the session, university-based clubs were able to understand the procedural matters and requirements for easier applications, ensuring they can continue to uphold their goals without unnecessary financial setbacks. With the help of IPDRR Ralph Eric Bernardo’s discussion, experiences, and vast knowledge on the topic, our efforts to solidify youth engagement and leadership continue to be within reach.
After the orientation concluded, it is expected that the initiative left a lasting impact on the attendees, giving them a wider perspective and deeper understanding of waiving RI dues and its sustainability strategies.
