As someone who has always been drawn to purposeful service and community engagement, becoming part of the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente (RACCF) was never just a passing interest.
It was an intentional decision rooted in a desire to grow, give back, and lead with impact. I’ve actively taken part in several initiatives and outreach programs, each one deepening my appreciation for the club’s mission and the power of collective action. But it was during the Basic Orientation Seminar (BOS) on July 5 at Camp Lapu-Lapu, Apas, Lahug, that everything truly came full circle for me.

The seminar wasn’t just informative—it was transformative. Learning about the history, values, and structure of the Rotary and Rotaract movements helped me connect the dots between the service they do and the global impact it creates.

In essence, the BOS gave us a space to reflect, to connect, and to envision the kind of Rotaractors we aspire to be. What stood out most was the genuine spirit of camaraderie that filled the room. Connecting with fellow aspirants and members, and sharing our hopes and aspirations, made me feel a strong sense of belonging and purpose.

Now, as I stand on the threshold of becoming an official member of RACCF, I carry with me a renewed commitment to grow alongside people who embody action, compassion, and positive change.

Joining this club isn’t just a milestone—it’s a meaningful step forward in a lifelong journey of service.
