Congratulations to the Pilipinas Rotaract Multi-District Information Organization (MDIO) on the launching of the Philippine Rotaract Magazine.
This is truly a landmark event in two important aspects. First, it celebrates the elevation of Rotaract Clubs as the second membership type of Rotary International—side by side with Rotary Clubs that have always been their partners in service. Secondly, this is being launched under the auspices of the Philippine Rotary Magazine Foundation, Inc. (PRMFI) in its own website as a digital publication.
First proposed by former PRMFI Chairman Samuel Pagdilao, Jr. in 2019, it has come into full fruition during the incumbency of Chairman Reynaldo C. David.
Truly, the Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO deserves commendation for demonstrating maturity and competence. It has mounted successfully the annual Pilipinas Rotaract Convention (PROCON) that brings together Rotaract clubs from all ten districts of Philippine Rotary. The biggest assembly of Rotary clubs in the Philippines occurred in 1994 during the 75th anniversary year of the Rotary Club of Manila when four districts in Luzon held a Quad Discon at the Philippine International Convention Center.
The new Philippine Rotaract Magazine also complements Ang Balangay, the newsletter of the MDIO that has consistently kept Rotaract Clubs and their members abreast of activities and projects that animate their fellowship and extend service to their communities.
The Philippine Rotary Magazine now proudly hosts in its website as the home of two publications that herald the digital transformation of the communication channels that bind and mobilize Filipino Rotarians and Rotaractors.
Mabuhay ang Pilipinas Rotaract! Mabuhay ang Philippine Rotary!
