A Decade of Service, A Lifetime of Gratitude

Ten years ago, the Rotaract Club of Metro Bacolod began as a small circle of young visionaries who simply wanted to make a difference. What started as a modest gathering of passionate individuals has now grown into a decade-long journey of impact, resilience, and unwavering hope. This year, we celebrated our 10th Charter Anniversary—our Dekada—a milestone that holds far more than years; it holds stories, faces, challenges, and triumphs that shaped who we are today.

The night of the celebration felt magical, not because of the lights or the program, but because of the people who filled the room: past leaders who carried the club through difficult times, present members who continue the mission with dedication, and future Rotaractors who will inherit the legacy we are building. Every handshake, smile, and memory shared that evening was a reminder that we exist because of the many hearts who believed in us.

Our club has struggled—more than once. We had moments of doubt, setbacks that tested our strength, and circumstances that pushed us to redefine ourselves. Yet through it all, we held to one truth: service is worth fighting for. And so we persisted.
This anniversary was not just a celebration of how far we have come, but a promise of how far we intend to go.
