In a world where the intersection of education and community service can often seem distant, Ericka A. Padal stands out as a shining example of how these realms can blend seamlessly to create a meaningful impact.

Ericka’s journey began with a clear focus on education. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics from Limay Polytechnic College, she continued to deepen her expertise by pursuing a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Mathematics Teaching at Bataan Peninsula State University. Her commitment to teaching and learning is evident not only in her academic pursuits but also in her diverse teaching experiences.

From 2016 to 2017, Ericka started her career as a preschool teacher at the House of Achievers Montessori School of Limay. Her passion for mathematics then led her to Eastwoods Academy of Science and Technology, where she taught high school mathematics from 2017 to 2020. Concurrently, she served as a math college instructor at Eastwoods Professional College of Science and Technology, where she educated students in computer engineering, computer science, and hospitality management.

Today, Ericka is a valued public senior high school teacher at DepEd Bataan. Her role involves teaching a wide array of subjects, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as well as accounting, business management, pre-baccalaureate maritime, and technical vocational tracks. Her exceptional contributions to education were recognized in 2019 when she was honored as one of the DAKILANG GURO of the Province of Bataan.

But Ericka’s influence extends beyond the classroom. Her dedication to service is evident through her extensive involvement with Rotary and Rotaract. She began her journey with Rotaract as an interactor in high school and was inducted as a rotaractor in 2012. Her leadership within her home club was marked by her role as Rotaract Club President during the term of PDRR Troy Hammond.

Ericka’s contributions to Rotaract did not stop there. She held various pivotal positions, including Rotaract Cluster Representative for Cluster 4B from 2018 to 2019 and again from 2020 to 2021. She also served as the District Treasurer under PDRR Fielson Murillo and as the District Secretary-Internal during PDRR Allan Klietz Jr.’s term. Her outstanding leadership earned her a spot among the Top 10 Outstanding Leadership Awardees at the Rotary Youth Leadership Award in 2017, a testament to her remarkable impact.

Currently, Ericka continues to serve the Rotary community as a member of the Rotary Club of Limay, where she held the position of New Generation Chair from 2019 to 2021 and later became the Rotary Club President under Past District Governor Willie Serafica.

Ericka A. Padal exemplifies how dedication to education and community service can create a lasting legacy. Her journey reflects a commitment to both teaching and leadership, making her an inspiring figure in both her professional and personal endeavors.

As a trailblazer in education and an advocate in Rotary, she continues to leave an indelible mark, reminding us that the greatest impact is made by those who give of themselves selflessly, both inside and outside the classroom.
